Carmela Rapino

Starting dance at the Ireland Academy at the age of 4, Carmela began a journey that would impact her life immensely. The Ireland Academy has helped shape Carmela into the budding artist she is to date with the help of her mentors, determined work ethic, and fellow peers.

Carmela has trained in many genres, including Jazz (A.D.A.P.T, B.A.T.D), Ballet (R.A.D), and Acro (Acrobatique). She enjoys providing the knowledge she has learned through her many years of taking exams to her students in a fun, inspiring environment.

Carmela's dance career goes beyond weekly classes and exams, and into the competition industry. Since beginning dance competitions in 2011, she has won many accolades and acknowledgments. From receiving “Most Potential” for solo work to invitations to National Competitions for group work, Carmela is grateful for her journey thus far with competitions and is excited to see how much farther it will go.

Carmela has shared the stage with performers of all types. Her most memorable performances were dancing at the U19 Women’s World Floorball Championships and at Tyler Shaw Live In Concert. Carmela is excited to expand her performance experience, but more so eager to watch her students grow into performers themselves.
