Isabella Rapino

Isabella began her dance journey at the age of 4 at the Ireland Academy of Dance. Through the numerous programs she further enrolled in, Isabella studied almost every genre offered to her both recreationally and competitively, particular specializing in contemporary, jazz and ballet of various syllabi. Her studies have been continuously recognized with awards and scholarships, including Dance Ontario’s honorary 2015 Jacque Foesier Youth Dance Award.

Isabella learned fast that her passion for dance was beyond her own performing. In 2012, she began filling her free nights with the opportunity to teach the next generation. Isabella is a certified jazz instructor with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing, though also enjoys teaching ballet, lyrical/contemporary and hip hop. Isabella is currently working towards her ADAPT Jazz and Tap certification.

Retiring from the competitive dance scene in 2013, she returned to competitions as a choreographer a short year after. Isabella has been recognized with many choreography accolades since, including placing first at the 2017 Embrace Dance Choreography Competition. Aside from competitive choreography, she has choreographed for special events such as Tyler Shaw Live In Concert. Isabella aspires to continuously expand her name in choreography all throughout her years.
